Fundraiser, CONJUR: A Masked Affair

The Romare Bearden Foundation and Powerhouse Arts will join forces for a magical evening of dance, fun, and festivities to celebrate Bearden’s legacy in American art. We’ll toast to the inspired creativity of Bearden and contemporary artists.

Powerhouse Arts- 322 Third Avenue, Brooklyn

8:00 – 11:00 pm

All proceeds of the evening benefit The Romare Bearden Foundation programs that provide platforms for mid-career artists, educational curricula, and symposia. We are looking to expand these programs to include greater opportunities for professional development geared toward communities of BIPOC artists and young students. The Bearden Foundation is a non-profit (501c3).

Powerhouse Arts is a multidisciplinary arts organization located in Brooklyn, New York. Its mission is dedicated to supporting and promoting contemporary artists and cultural producers across several disciplines, including visual art, photography, film, music, and theater.

Powerhouse Arts provide a platform for artists to showcase their work, fosters collaborations and community engagement, and offers resources and support to artists at all stages of their careers. The organization also hosts exhibitions, performances, screenings, workshops, and other events to engage with the local and global arts community.
