From December 1st to the 4th, DC Moore Gallery’s section dedicated work of Romare Bearden turned heads with its dramatic red walls and stunning black and white works.
Romare Bearden: The 1960s, featured several collages, and works from the Projection series, and was a stand out in the Survey Sector of the Fair in The Main Hall in the Convention Center.
The works from the Projection series have been highlighted at exhibitions in New York and earlier this year in Miami at the Perez Museum. Several works will be heading for an exhibition at the Tate Modern Museum in London, Soul of A Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power.
